Volunteer Requirements
The Dolphins are a nonprofit organization that relies on our families volunteering to keep our registration costs low. Each family is asked to complete 13 points worth of volunteer shifts (with 1 point roughly equaling an hour of volunteering).

If your family does not fulfill their volunteer responsibilities, a fee of $30 per point short of 13 will be charged at the end of the season. This fee is authorized but NOT charged on your credit card at registration. If you fail to fulfill your volunteer duties, the appropriate charge is assessed.
Any Dolphins family with 15-18 year old swimmers only, are exempt from volunteering.
Every Dolphins family with a swimmer under 15 years old will be held to the same policy regardless of the number of meets that a swimmer attends.
Examples
Family A (our preferred choice!)
Completes (at least) 13 volunteer points
Additional amount owed to Dolphins: $0
Family B
Completes no volunteer points
Additional amount owed to Dolphins: 13 x $30 = $390
Family C
Completes 8 out of 13 volunteer points
Additional amount owed to Dolphins: 5 x $30 = $150
