The Lake Forest II Dolphin Swim Team is excited to introduce our new head coach, Coach Trevor Basil!

Coach Basil enters his first season with the Dolphins and brings with him 10 years of coaching excellence and experience. Coach Basil has coached every level of swimming through out his career, from water safety for toddlers to adult masters swimming to the highest levels of USS Senior Nationals and Olympic trials as well as collegiate coaching. No matter the level, Coach Basil’s philosophy has always been to focus on a "team first" mentality which he looks forward to bringing to the Dolphins swim team.

Coach Basil graduated with a degree in psychology from George Mason University and was an Olympic Trial qualifier and Senior National Finalist during his competitive swimming days.

Coach Basil and his wife, Meredith reside in Irvine, CA with their son, Shane.

Coach Basil will be at registration on March 4, 2012. Be sure to come out to meet and greet him!
